Course objectives
Understand the philosophy of Six Sigma and
why it works in contrast to other quality
improvement programs.
1. Identify the objectives of all phases
as follows:

Define:
identify customer requirements, determine
a project scope, define what is Critical
to Quality (CTQ), develop process maps,
understand and estimate the Cost of
Poor Quality (COPQ) .
Measure:
identify process parameters affecting
the CTQ variables, analyze the current
measurement system, and define a baseline
process using basic statistics tools.
Estimate capability for the process.
Analyze:
assure process understanding, identify
special and common cause variation, and
conduct hypothesis testing, correlation
and regression tools.
Improve:
identify possible solutions using Design
of Experiments (DOE), verify solutions
under pilots, develop and execute action
plan.
Control:
develop control plans using lean tools
and control charts, implement solutions,
ensure the correct implementation of
control charts, transitioning the project,
measuring progress, and sustaining gains. |
2. Prepare for taking Six Sigma Green Belt
Certification Exam being able to support
any Six Sigma project in any area of the
organization or work under Black Belt or
Master Black Belt supervision in small projects.
Training description and materials
All course related materials (including
online content) are supplied with this program
and are incorporated into the cost. Successful
participants will be prepared to take the
Six Sigma Green Belt Certification exam
upon the conclusion of the course and obtain
their certification on line.
